with Lea Schürmann
In a future society, after the collapse of nature, an organization called alpha sooth sells exclusive treatments and products to the members of their club. These include healing sound waves and springwater from a source of unknown origin, infused with mineral powders. The resort is located in the interior of a megacity skyscraper and blends elements of long-gone natural and cultural landscapes in its design. This miniature landscape enclosed in a rectangular steel frame is reminiscent of Zen gardens and can be contemplated from a bench in front of it. Next to the entrance stands a display refrigerator, which holds bottles filled with the cloudy spring water for the club members. The company logo is clearly discernible on the bottles. If you look closely, you will recognize it in the details throughout the resort: embossed on the seat of the bench, on the surface of the stones and diffusely embedded in the landscape motifs on the posters in the corridor that connects the two rooms...
